![]() ![]() Soon after, even before the village has time to celebrate, a girl in the village named Eryll falls ill to a disease known as "crystal sickness". When the hero reaches a clearing in the forest, Sherlotta appears, floating on the Crystal, and she tells the Hero that they has passed the test. That day it is their 16th birthday and their coming-of-age ceremony, in which the Hero is required to set out in the Forest and find the crystal. Then the crystal shines and the hero wakes up. The girl notices the crystal, and the man begins laughing. The girl trips and is caught by the man as his hand covers her face and the man sees a large crystal. On the night before their sixteenth birthday, the Hero has a nightmare: they see a girl in white running away from an old man. Although they were cared for by all of the villagers, the Hero lived with Sherlotta as her child. She and the spirits of the Villagers reconstructed the Village so that the Hero could have a normal life. So get ready to blast off in a rocket fuelled Starfield performance preview. The Hero was found in the woods by Sherlotta sixteen years ago. ![]() We also compare the improvements over the previous showing, enhancements within the engine, and much more. The biggest question after the show(s) was: why is it 30fps on Xbox Series X and Series S and not 60fps? In this IGN Performance preview, we dive into the details shared by the team, the revealed PC minimum and recommended specifications, and how the Creation Engine 2 works, comparing the previous games to gauge some of the potential reasons why the team might have chosen 30fps. With Starfield being the center of the Xbox 2023 Showcase last week, Bethesda gave us a deep dive into one of the biggest games this generation. Pick it up, then place it on the pedestal to open the south gate. This will let you walk out onto the top of the pond, and cast Clear on the floating blue tablet. You're going to carry it across the bridge, and then push it through the hole created by the moving platform. Head to the right-most coffin, and pull it around the pond, heading east first, then south. Unfortunately, you're going to have to re-enter bee territory. Drop it in, and it'll land on a crimson switch, causing a little square platform to move out of your way. Following that, get the top-most coffin, and drag it down to the perfectly sized hole in the ground next to the bridge you just made. Push it against the southern wall, then get on its west side, and shove it down into the pit. Once you're done, you'll want to start with the left-most coffin. Don't waste your time with them, but do kill off everything else in the area. This will open the path to the next area.Īlthough this room is smaller, its puzzle is a little trickier, and a perpetually re-spawning bunch of bees will try to ruin your day. From there, pull the cube all the way to the dark button, and drop it down on top of it. To do this, drop the coffin into the groove at the furthest east point. You want to create another bridge which lets you drag the cube onto solid ground. ![]() Push that coffin over the bridge you've just created, all the way back to where the stone block is. Walk across it, and pull the third coffin out of the north wall (which reveals a dark crimson button). It should fall into the gap, and create a bridge. When you reach the chasm, make sure you're centered, then get on the coffin's other (east) side, and push it over the edge. At this point, start pulling it west (toward the area where you had fought the shadowy, exploding enemy). Jump to its level, and push it into the middle of the floor, taking care to not shove it into the pit by the block. Secondly, shove the other coffin onto the large, orange-rimmed platform next to the blue switch. Once you're ready to start, push the first coffin into the slot where the Mimic was hiding. The pictures below illustrate every step you're about to take, so feel free to reference them if you're ever confused. Beforehand, clear the place of enemies, else this will be a lot more difficult than it should be. Take it out, then roll up your sleeves, as you're about to face some of EoT's trickiest puzzles. A Mimic dwells to the right of the entrance, just waiting to have some fun with you. ![]()
